And just like that…it’s winter! We’ve had the log burner’s going this past week, and it looks like we’re going to be stocking up that log store on a regular basis from now on. We love all the winter scents, mince pies, mulled wine and Christmas trees, in fact we just love the holiday season, and we’re trying to restrain ourselves from putting up the decorations! This week I’ve been using the 2 new holiday blends, Holiday Joy and Holiday Peace. These are ready made blends, good to go in your diffuser, or you can try adding a few drops to some dried out pinecones. They make brilliant firelighters without any chemicals. Another way to enjoy your oils is by adding a few drops to your seasoned firewood before you light your fire. Of course not everyone has or needs wood burners in their homes so you can pop them in your diffuser to enjoy all their benefits.

We’ve also been busy creating a few new winter blends for you to try out in your diffuser too. Oōplah is smelling absolutely wonderful! Let me know what you think of them or if you have some winter blends that you’ve found, we’d love to hear about them xx

This beautiful diffuser blend is brilliant if you’re stuck indoors, maybe because of the bad weather or perhaps you’re not feeling great. This warm inviting scent reminds me of freshly baked Swedish pastries without putting the oven on. Wild Orange with it’s immune boosting properties and uplifting scent, Cardamon to help balance your emotions and then Cassia bringing warmth and protection against seasonal threats. Pop this on in the morning and feel cosy and snug all day long.

Sometimes all the excitement of Christmas can leave us feeling a bit overwhelmed, children can be over-excited or our minds are racing with a mental list of all the things we still need to do. So we’ve created this soothing blend to help bring you back to yourself, to settle your mind and to help you relax. And as it’s nearly Christmas we had to create a blend with the “King of Oils” Frankincense. it helps ease tension and has such a grounding scent, Lavender for it’s wonderful calming and sedative effects and Copaiba for helping reduce anxiety and it’s comforting scent.

4 Drops Frankincense

3 Drops Lavender

2 Drops Copbaiba
